Chennai, Jun 3: Pan-India star Prabhas is all set to don a new avatar in his upcoming horror entertainer The Raja Saab, which is now officially slated for release on December 5, 2025. The announcement was made on Monday, sending fans into a frenzy as the makers also confirmed that the much-awaited teaser will be unveiled on June 16.
Directed by Maruthi and produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory, the film marks Prabhas’s first full-fledged venture into the horror genre. Promising a blend of supernatural suspense and nostalgic cinematic flair, The Raja Saab has already generated considerable buzz despite facing multiple production delays, primarily due to VFX-heavy sequences and extended shooting schedules.
The film boasts an impressive technical crew, with cinematography helmed by Karthik Palani and music composed by Thaman S. Interestingly, the music director has been granted the rare liberty to revise and tweak tracks during the filming process—an uncommon approach in mainstream cinema that reflects the team's commitment to creative flexibility.
Joining Prabhas on screen are leading ladies Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar, who are expected to add depth and vibrance to the film’s spine-chilling narrative.
Originally planned for an April 2025 release, The Raja Saab will now make a grand entry into cinemas in December, rolling out across multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
With a unique mix of horror, romance, and fantasy, the film aims to offer a genre-defying experience for fans of Prabhas and Indian cinema at large. All eyes are now on June 16, as anticipation builds for the first glimpse of this supernatural saga.
