Hyderabad, Jun 4: Fans of Telugu superstars Pawan Kalyan and Vijay Deverakonda may need to curb their excitement for a while longer, as both of their much-anticipated films — Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Kingdom — are facing delays, putting release dates in flux.

Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, a lavish period action drama that has been in the works since 2020, was earlier scheduled for a grand release on June 12, 2025. However, fresh industry buzz suggests that post-production work — especially intensive VFX — is still underway. The team is now eyeing July 4 as a tentative release window, though no official statement has been made by the producers.

Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and co-helmed by A.M. Jyothi Krishna, the film promises a visual spectacle, featuring an ensemble cast including Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, and Satyaraj. Despite its prolonged production, fans remain optimistic, with overseas advance bookings already crossing ?1 crore, particularly for its U.S. premiere.

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda's action saga Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, has its own set of roadblocks. Originally scheduled for May 30, the film was pushed to July 4, potentially setting up a box-office clash with Pawan Kalyan’s film. However, with pending reshoots and patchwork scenes, insiders hint that Kingdom might be postponed further.

Touted as a two-part epic, Kingdom features Bhagyashri Borse, Satyadev, and Koushik Mahata in key roles, with high expectations riding on its ambitious scale and storytelling.

Adding to the anticipation, Pawan Kalyan is also set to appear in They Call Him OG, a gangster thriller that is slated for release on September 25, 2025. As post-production challenges and scheduling issues persist, fans are left waiting for official confirmations. Until then, the hope remains that when these big-screen spectacles finally arrive, they’ll be worth every minute of the wait.
