Bengaluru, Jun 6: On the occasion of World Environment Day, young Mangalurean author and orator Reshel Bretny Fernandes released a thought-provoking book, 'Environment Bond of Coexistence', that champions the cause of sustainable living and environmental responsibility.
The book, published by Tanisha Publications, New Delhi, was unveiled at a special ceremony held in Bengaluru. The release was graced by P C Mohan, member of parliament for Bengaluru Central and chairman of the standing committee of social justice and empowerment, parliament of India.

In her book, Reshel passionately emphasizes the urgent need for sustainable practices, stressing that the planet is not merely a resource to be exploited but a home to be protected. She appeals to readers — especially the younger generation — to become conscious custodians of nature, recognising that the destruction of the environment spells danger not just for humans but for all living beings.
The central message of the book calls for development in harmony with nature, underscoring that true progress must be sustainable. By inspiring readers to walk hand-in-hand with the environment, Reshel seeks to ignite a sense of personal and collective responsibility for the planet’s well-being.
