Chennai, Jun 10: The makers of the much-awaited romantic entertainer Kiss, directed by choreographer-turned-filmmaker Satish and starring actor Kavin in the lead, released the lyrical video of its second single Jillelama on Tuesday, sparking excitement among fans and music lovers.

The romantic number, composed by independent musician Jen Martin and penned by lyricist Vishnu Edavan, is a foot-tapping celebration of love. It has been sung by Adithya RK and Priya Mali. Actor Kavin took to social media to share the link to the lyrical video and thank the team behind the film.

Originally slated for a March release, Kiss is now scheduled to hit theatres in July. The film also stars Preethi Asrani, best known for her lead role in Ayothya, as the female lead.

A teaser released earlier created curiosity, showcasing Kavin as a hot-headed man with a strong aversion to romance—so much so that he protests Valentine’s Day by shutting down a shop. The teaser ends with Preethi’s character showing romantic interest in him, setting the stage for a clash of emotions.

The Kiss has been produced by Raahul under Romeo Pictures. The film’s technical team includes cinematographer Harish, editor Pranav, art director Mohan Mahendiran, and action director Peter Hein.

The lyrical video of Jillelama has further raised expectations for the film, which promises a blend of humour, romance, action, and music.
