Kochi, Jun 11: Actress Rajisha Vijayan has officially joined the cast of director Paul George’s much-anticipated pan-Indian action thriller ‘Kattalan’, starring Antony Varghese (Pepe) in the lead role.

Following the roaring success of ‘Marco’, producer Shareef Muhammed of Cubes Entertainments is back with this high-octane venture, and the team welcomed Rajisha on board on Wednesday via a post on Instagram.

"Welcoming the sensational @rajishavijayan to the world of ‘Kattalan’," the production house wrote, introducing her as the film’s female lead. The Kerala State Award-winning actress is known for her powerful performances in films like ‘Anuraga Karikkin Vellam’, ‘Karnan’, ‘Jai Bhim’, and ‘June’.

Rajisha joins an ensemble cast that includes rapper Baby Jean, Telugu actor Sunil of Pushpa fame, Kabir Duhan Singh, and seasoned Malayalam actors Jagadeesh and Siddique.

The film’s technical crew boasts an impressive lineup with Ajaneesh Loknath composing the music, Sharief handling choreography, Dhanya Balakrishnan designing costumes, Renadive in charge of cinematography, and Shameer Muhammed editing.

‘Kattalan’ is being positioned as a powerful action-packed entertainer with pan-Indian appeal, and Rajisha’s addition further amps up expectations from the film.
