Mumbai, Jun 14: Former football star David Beckham has officially been knighted by King Charles, and no one is prouder than his wife, fashion icon Victoria Beckham.

Marking the special moment, Victoria shared a tender photo on Instagram, embracing her husband with a heartwarming caption:

"You’ve always been my knight in shining armour, but now it’s official. Sir @davidbeckham!!! What an honour. I couldn’t be prouder of you. Your dedication to country, passion, and family has always inspired us. Above all, I’m so proud to call you mine. I love you so much xxxx."

David responded with a heartfelt comment tagging Victoria and their four children — Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper — writing, "I love you all."

Their son Romeo also joined the celebrations by posting a candid shot of himself with his father, captioned, “So so proud of you,” which David promptly reposted on his own Instagram stories.

David and Victoria, who tied the knot in a fairy-tale wedding at Ireland’s Luttrellstown Castle in 1999, have long been one of Britain’s most admired celebrity couples. Their family of six continues to support one another through every milestone.

David was previously honoured with the OBE in 2003 by Queen Elizabeth and was named an ambassador for the King’s Foundation in 2024. His knighthood comes as part of King Charles’ 2025 Birthday Honours List, which also included actor Gary Oldman and sculptor Antony Gormley, who was appointed Companion of Honour.

From football fields to royal halls, Beckham’s journey is now officially crowned.
