The grand book launch will be held at the prestigious House of Lords, celebrating the life and cricketing journey of Syed Kirmani, one of the key architects of India’s maiden World Cup win. The biography, titled Stumped: Syed Kirmani, traces the wicketkeeping maestro’s personal and professional milestones, charting his journey from Bangalore to global cricketing glory.

The biography will be officially launched by renowned NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr Ronald Colaco, who will be the chief guest at the event. Based in Dubai, Dr Colaco is widely known for his contributions to education, culture, and philanthropy, especially within the Indian diaspora.
The event will also be graced by Lord Bhikhu (Biku) Parekh, distinguished British political theorist and member of the House of Lords, who will serve as the guest of honour. Lord Parekh is celebrated for his contributions to multiculturalism and social integration in the UK.
