Udupi, Jun 30: A car heading from Mangaluru towards Udupi met with an accident near the Udyavara Bridge on National Highway 66 on Monday afternoon, causing a momentary stir in the area.
According to sources, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which resulted in the car overturning onto the divider. Fortunately, no injuries were reported and all occupants in the vehicle escaped unhurt.
The incident led to a brief disruption in traffic along the busy highway stretch. Local authorities soon arrived at the scene and ensured the smooth clearance of the vehicle, restoring traffic flow.
