Mumbai, Jul 8: Madwa Debbeliguthu Sarojini Jaladhara Shetty (71) passed away at her residence in the early hours of Tuesday morning due to a heart attack.
She was wife of late Menala Elnaduguthu Jalandhara Shetty, who was the administrative Moktesara of Shri Panchalingeshwara Temple in Bantwala taluk of Vittal Iswaramangala in Dakshina Kannada.
Sarojini J Shetty is the mother of Menala Elnaduguthu Kishan J Shetty (managing director of Channel Freight Services India Private Limited, director of Adyar Gardens, director of Indian Bunts Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and is survived by a large family including two daughters (Bharti and Aarti).

Late Jaladhara Shetty served as the convener of Buntara Yane Nadavara Sangha Mangalore, director of Panchalingeswar Education Trust, district president of Kisan Cell of the Indian National Congress. A progressive agriculturist, an orator, an office bearer of many associations, A creator of the Menala Colony, Jaladhar Colonies, an indomitable spirit, popularly known as the 'Manikya of Menala'. Late Sarojini Shetty was known as a kind, simple, kind hearted, pious and charitable.
The family members said that the last rites of the deceased will be held on Tuesday, July 8 at 7:00 pm later at the Menala house.
