Bhatkal, Jan 30: BIFA (Bhatkal inter-football association) Cup 2012, taluk level football tournament was held here, recently. The match ended up being a tie between Labbaik Nawayath Vs BIFA City.

A total of 16 teams participated in the BIFA cup. During the presentation ceremony, TMC president Inayatullah Shahbandari, chairmain of Naunihaal education trust Mohammed Muzzafar Kola, Nazeer Kashimji, Ataullah Ruknaddin, Sudeer, Jifri, Irfan, Dr Afaaque and others were present.

Labbaik hit a goal in the second half of the game. Asraar MJ hit one goal for BIFA city. In a penalty shoot out, both teams made three goals. After Magrib Azaan, the committee members and Labbaik team captain decided to share the prize that was Rs 5,500 each and a trophy.

The best goal keeper title was given to Nasif (BIFA united), best defender title was given to Hibban (BIFA city), best striker title was given to Maviya (BIFA city) and best playmaker title was given to Nauman (Labbaik Nawayath).
