Beltangady, Jul 11: A labourer who claimed to have buried more than 100 dead bodies around Dharmasthala village appeared before a judge on Thursday, July 11, in the presence of his legal counsel.
He is said to have submitted his statement to the court along with supporting evidence, reportedly admitting to the act.

The complaint in this regard had been filed at the Dharmasthala police station on July 4 through advocates Ojaswi Gowda and Sachin S Deshpande.
The man recorded his statement before the principal civil judge and first class judicial magistrate of Beltangady. It is said that he deposed for about 1hr 20 mins before the magistrate.
He arrived at the court premises around 4.30 pm in an Innova car, fully covered and accompanied by his lawyers. The witness has been brought to the Beltangady police station from the court, and legal procedures are underway at the station.
