Mumbai, Jul 13: It’s been a year since the grand Ambani wedding took over the headlines, and Bollywood hasn’t forgotten. As Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant mark their first wedding anniversary, warm wishes poured in from none other than Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh.

Taking to Instagram, Shah Rukh shared a black and white throwback photo of the couple from last year’s celebrations. “Wishing this beautiful couple a very happy anniversary… here’s to many more years of togetherness… Wishing you love and health always. Love you both. @radhikamambani & Anant,” he wrote.

Ranveer Singh also shared a stunning picture of the couple with a heartfelt caption: “Happy first anniversary to my lovelies Anant and Radhika.”

Anant, son of industrialist Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika, daughter of businessman Viren Merchant, tied the knot in an extravagant three-day affair from July 12 to 14, 2024, in Mumbai. The wedding was a star-studded spectacle attended by Bollywood heavyweights including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Deepika Padukone.

International celebrities also made headlines with their presence — Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, and even WWE star John Cena.

The musical performances were equally dazzling. Justin Bieber rocked the sangeet ceremony, while global stars Rema and Luis Fonsi sang their hits Calm Down and Despacito. Rihanna had earlier headlined the couple’s pre-wedding bash in March.

As for the stars who wished them — Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for Siddharth Anand’s King, starring Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan and more. Ranveer Singh is set to appear in Dhurandar, an action drama directed by Aditya Dhar, alongside Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal.

Even a year later, the Ambani wedding continues to echo across Bollywood and beyond.
