Puttur, July 17: Vehicular movement on National Highway 75 between Mangaluru and Bengaluru has come to a complete standstill following a landslide near Mannagundi in Kokkada village close to Nelyadi in Kadaba taluk on Thursday, July 17.
Due to the landslide, mud from adjacent hills has spilled onto the highway from both sides, blocking the road entirely.

Clearing operations have already begun, but work is expected to continue until noon. In the meantime, police have advised all motorists to use alternative routes.
Additionally, another minor landslide was reported near Peramogaru in Bantwal taluk. However, traffic remained unaffected in this stretch as the area is part of a four-lane highway.
