Mumbai, Jul 19: The much-awaited second season of Special Ops, featuring Kay Kay Menon in the lead role as Himmat Singh, is now streaming on JioHotstar from July 18. Created by Neeraj Pandey, the new season takes a sharp turn from its earlier focus on terrorism to highlight the rising threats of cybercrime and AI-led warfare.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey and Shivam Nair, Special Ops 2 sees Himmat Singh and his elite task force tackle a web of cyber threats, with the plot igniting after the sudden kidnapping of a top scientist. As cyberattacks escalate, Singh is forced to navigate the dark alleys of the digital world to face an old adversary.

Alongside Kay Kay Menon, the series stars Karan Tacker, Saiyami Kher, Vinay Pathak, Meher Vij, Muzammil Ibrahim, and Gautami Kapoor. Adding further intensity are seasoned actors Prakash Raj, Tota Roy Choudhury, Rajeev Khandelwal, Dalip Tahil, and Tahir Raj Bhasin, who play antagonistic roles.
