Mumbai: Konkani Catholic Association Nallasopara Celebrates 16th Annual Day

Mumbai, Feb 1: Konkani Catholic Association (KCA) Nallasopara organized its 16th annual day celebrations at St Francis De Sales parish grounds, Central Park, Nallasopara (East), on Sunday January 29.

Vasai–Virar deputy mayor Sagir Dengi was the chief guest on the occasion.

Nallasopara sub-inspector A V Hengrej, Parol gram panchayat member Pramod Tabil, unit president Deepak Patil, St Francis De Sales parish priest Fr Agnello Lawrence, KCA Nallasopara advisors Fr Robert Fernandes, Fr S Rosario, Fr Joy Rebello, Fr S Jacob and Fr Antony D’Souza were the guests of honour.

KCA Nallasopara president Harry Cutinho, in his introductory address, explained the decade long social welfare activities undertaken by the organization.

Sagir Dengi commended the social welfare activities of KCA Nallasopara in uplifting the living conditions of the poor in the locality.

Hengrej said that better relation between police personnel and social welfare organizations improves social security.

Alwyn F D’Souza Shirva, welcomed the gathering.  Gracy Pinto, Richard Pinto, Lavina, Rohington Kaka, Claude D’Silva, Hilda D’Souza, Ignatius D’Souza, John Alva, Diana Moraes, Lucy Noronha, and Lilly Quadros welcomed the guests with flower bouquets.  Patrick Frates proposed the vote of thanks.

Horizon Music India group of Vinod Sonavane and Rajendra Pai staged a musical concert as part of the entertainment programme.

    Congratulations to Konkani Catholic Association Nallasopara on your 16th. Annual Day. Thanks to all the organizers and well wishers. You have taken lot of effort. Daijiworld have did a wonderful job with their beautiful pictures. My hats off to them.
