Bollywood Galore at Riteish-Genelia Sangeet


Mumbai, Feb 1 (IANS): From Sanjay Dutt, Gauri Khan to Karan Johar and Abhishek Bachchan -- the who is who of Bollywood gathered for the sangeet ceremony of Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza at the Taj Lands End here.

Genelia looked gorgeous in white lehenga with peach embellishments, while detailed stone work on her lehenga and chunni added elegance to her attire. Her beau Riteish looked striking in a royal blue Sherwani.

Before going for the ceremony Tuesday, Riteish told reporters that his "brother and his family members will perform," adding that "I would love to dance with Genelia if she says yes."

The couples are all set to tie the knot Feb 3.

At the ceremony the family members of both Riteish and Genelia let their hair down.

Among friends and colleagues, Arshad Warsi and Jacky Bhagnani were the first ones to arrive at the venue in Bandra.

When asked Arshad who does he feel should settle down next, pat came the reply, "Salman should get married now."

Jacky, who had worked with Ritesh, said: "I am here from the boy's side. Riteish is my close friend."

"I don't know who all are getting married this year only hope I don't get married for next five years," he further added.

The guest list included Bobby Deol, Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan, Soha Ali Khan, Suniel Shetty, Asin Thottumkal, Sonali Bendre, Rishi Kapoor, Nitu Singh, Arbaaz Khan, Malaika Arora Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker, Shreyas Talpade, Priyadarshan, Milan Luthria, Aftab Shivdasani and Shweta Pandit.
