Udupi, Feb 1: Vidushi Pratibha Samaga has been chosen for the state ‘Dance Critic Award–2011’ by city-based Noopurabhramari Research Foundation, for her extraordinary contributions to critical analysis published in both print and e-media.
Samaga was chosen for the award by a panel of jurors chaired by Dr Shatavadani Ganesh, from 34 entries.
The award will be presented during the valedictory function of the state-level dance research symposium that will be held under the aegis of Noopura Bhramari Research Foundation and Karnataka Research Federation at Nayana Auditorium, Bangalore, on Monday February 20.
