Mangalore: UCA Holds Protest

Mangalore, Feb 1: United Christian Association organized a silent protest in front of the Bishop’s house near Kodialbail here on Tuesday January 31.

The protestors carrying banners and placards alleged that the house given to Irene and John under the housing project of the diocese was wrongly projected as a donation.

The protestors demanded the bishop to hold a press meet and reveal the actual matter regarding handing over of houses to poor people. About a hundred people gathered on the occasion.
 
P B D’Sa, district president of PUCL, Alban Menezes, president of United Christian Association among others led the protest which was held from 4 pm to 6 pm.
