Mangaluru, July 24: As part of Income Tax Day celebrations, the Income Tax Sports and Recreation Club (ITSRC), Mangaluru, organised a blood donation camp and cultural programme at the CR Building, Attavar.
The blood donation camp was held on July 23 in collaboration with A J Hospital, Mangaluru, for the benefit of serving and retired personnel of the department and their family members. A comprehensive blood test was also conducted alongside the camp.



































The formal Income Tax Day celebration took place on July 24 at the CR Building.
Col G Somu Maharajan, director of the Army Recruiting Office, Mangaluru, was the chief guest, while Major Abhijeet Singh, recruitment medical officer at the same office, was the guest of honour.
As part of the celebration, ten ex-servicemen currently serving in the Income Tax Department were felicitated by Col Somu Maharajan.
The formal function was followed by a vibrant cultural performance.
Notable attendees included commissioner of income tax (appeals) Ranga Rajan; additional commissioner Shankar Ganesh; deputy commissioner Ramith; additional commissioner and ITSRC president Suresh; ITSRC secretary and IT inspector Chandramohan, and other dignitaries.
