Udupi, July 27: Strong winds accompanied by heavy rain caused significant damage across Udupi district on the night of July 26.

The roof sheets of Milagres College in Kallianpur were completely blown away due to the intense wind. The entire sheet roof collapsed in the incident. The college principal and members of the administration visited the site and conducted an inspection.

Additionally, a tree fell near Gundmi Bar in the Brahmavar area, blocking the main Brahmavar–Hebri road.
