Mangalore, Feb 1: A national level inter-collegiate art fest ‘Art Beat 2011-2012’ will be organized by the faculty of arts, St Aloysius College at the college on February 3 and 4.

Informing the same at a press conference held at Press Club here on Wednesday February 1, Dr Saraswathi, staff co-ordinator of fest said that more than 15 colleges are taking part in this fest. She added 'Greenery-Greenomania' is the theme of the fest which will convey the message of better green world for future. In all, 16 different events will be held on two days fest.

Joseph Naveen, student co-ordinator informed that the inauguration will be done by chief guest of the day TNS Murthy, deputy chairman, NMPT and guest of honour B S Karkera, chairman, MSEZ on February 3. Fr Joseph Rodrigues, rector, St Aloysius Institutions will preside over the programme.

The valedictory will be held on February 4 at 4pm. District in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar will be the chief guest. C D Kumar, senior environment officer will be the guest of honor.
