Mumbai, Jul 29: Popular television actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, best known for her role in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, has hit back strongly at online trolls who mocked the skin tone of her seven-month-old son, Joy.

The actress had recently shared heartfelt moments from her son's seven-month birthday celebration on social media. While the post drew love from fans, a section of netizens stooped low, making racially charged remarks targeting the infant and his father.

One comment read, “Baap par gaya hai beta...” To this, Devoleena retorted with biting sarcasm: “Kyun? Tum padosi par gayee ho kya?”

Taking the fight further, the actress publicly exposed the trolls by posting their Instagram profiles on her stories. One such user claimed to be an engineer from Delhi. Devoleena called out the individual, saying, “Itne paise kharch kar k engineer banne ke baad bhi zindagi aur soch dono nahi sudhar paayi bechari.” She further questioned the future of the nation if such are the minds entering the engineering field.

Devoleena also expressed concern over a troll who, despite being a mother herself, targeted her child. “Bas inka baccha inki iss bimari ka shikaar naa bane, bhagwan se yahi prarthana karti hoon,” she wrote.

The actress's bold stand has garnered praise from fans and industry colleagues alike, who lauded her for refusing to tolerate hate directed at her child.

Thats the effect of social media. When one is appriciating ,other one is only giving bad comments. One cant satisfy everyone .Take it easy without giving much attention. There are people whos skin is sensitive against hot sun or day light ,and had to come out only in moon light.Other people s skin is very dark ,It is mostly because of Pigments in skin less or more.
