Riyadh, Aug 7: NetApp, a global leader in intelligent data infrastructure, has appointed Saeed Al-Zahrani as General Manager for Saudi Arabia, reinforcing its commitment to support the Kingdom’s digital transformation journey aligned with Vision 2030.
Al-Zahrani, a seasoned technology executive with close to two decades of experience, will lead NetApp’s strategy and operations from the company’s recently inaugurated Riyadh headquarters. He has held leadership roles at Nutanix, Solutions by stc, Oracle, LinkedIn, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. His academic background includes marketing from King Fahd University and digital transformation from Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship.
In his new role, Al-Zahrani is expected to strengthen partnerships with public and private sectors while accelerating the adoption of NetApp’s cloud, data, and AI solutions. Company sources said his customer-first approach and regional expertise make him a strategic fit to lead NetApp’s growth in the Kingdom.
NetApp, founded in 1992 and based in San Jose, California, offers cutting-edge solutions in data management, cloud integration, and AI. With a focus on empowering government, energy, healthcare, and telecom sectors, the company’s expansion in Saudi Arabia marks a key milestone in supporting national initiatives for innovation, digital economy, and workforce development.
The appointment comes on the back of a record fiscal year for NetApp, reflecting its growing presence in the Middle East’s evolving tech ecosystem.
