Mangaluru, Aug 11: The much-awaited Tulu film Jai, directed and headlined by Rock Star Roopesh Shetty, will be premiered in Muscat on October 24.

Jai is touted as a big-budget Tulu film, with major portions shot in and around Mangaluru. The movie boasts a star-studded cast featuring some of the most prominent names from the coastal region.

Following the success of his earlier films Girgit, Gamjaal, and Circus, Roopesh Shetty has taken on another ambitious project. Jai is being produced under the banners of RS Cinemas, Shoolin Films, and Mugrody Productions.

While Roopesh Shetty helms the project as director, the story and dialogues are penned by Prasanna Shetty Bailur. Technical credits include cinematography by Vinuth K, music by Loy Valentine Saldanha, and editing by Rahul Vasishta. The film is produced by Anil Shetty, Sudhakar Shetty Mugrody, and Manjunath Attavara, with Dikshith Alva as co-producer and Naveen Shetty Aryans as choreographer and executive producer.

The ensemble cast includes Sunil Shetty, Dr Devadas Kapikad, Raj Deepak Shetty, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Prasanna Shetty Bailur, Sandeep Shetty Manibettu, and Umesh Mijar. Adviti Shetty plays the female lead.

The film was shot in three schedules and is now ready for release. Jai will hit the silver screens on November 14.
