Mumbai, Feb 3 (IANS): Post the success of "The Dirty Picture", Vidya Balan has become the most wanted actress in the B-town and reportedly veteran Shyam Benegal wants to cast her.
Bengal approached her for his "Chamki Chameli" and Vidya is said to be taking her own time to get back to Benegal on the same.
When asked, Vidya refused to confirm it, merely saying, "no comments".
Benegal has delivered some outstanding films in his career, which include "Ankur", "Mandi", "Zubeidaa", "Welcome To Sajjanpur" and "Well Done Abba".
Apparently, Benegal had earlier approached Kareena Kapoor for the same film, but it didn't work out.
