Riteish-Genelia Church Wedding a Family Affair

Mumbai Feb 5 (IANS): After a lavish Maharashtrian-style wedding, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza chose to stay low-key as they exchanged wedding vows again in a traditional church wedding Saturday.

The couple got married for the second time in a Catholic wedding held in Bandra Church.

Filmmaker Karan Johar is said to have played a vital role in the ceremony. After, choreographing a few dance steps for the sangeet ceremony, Karan turned to be the best man for the Christian wedding.

While Genelia looked ethnic in white gown, her bridesmaids wore peach coloured gowns. Riteish chose the all-black look with a formal black coat, trousers and a bow tie.

The couple is now gearing up for a grand reception at Grand Hyatt Saturday.

    Congratulations to the couple.
Catholic church allows solemnization of wedding only between two Christian boy and girl. If anyone belong to the other community, as per Christian marriage law, a boy or girl need to convert and then only a sacrament of matrimony shall be allowed. Just an interest, that case new groom in Catholic family is already a converted Christian, or the Church also is partial as rules generally applies to the common ordinary folk not to celebrities! Just curious.
Good luck to the celebrity couple
