Patna, Aug 22: Former minister and elder son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, has once again stirred political circles in Bihar by alleging that five influential families have conspired to “destroy” both his political and personal life.
On Thursday, Tej Pratap took to his official X handle, sharing an animated image along with a sharp message. He wrote, “In my political career of over ten years, I have never conspired against anyone. But these five families tried their best to completely end my political and family life. Tomorrow, I will bring their faces and deeds before the public. Each of their conspiracies will be exposed.”

The statement comes at a time when Tej Pratap is already facing turbulent times in both politics and his family life. Recently, his father Lalu Prasad Yadav expelled him from the RJD and family for six years after a controversial social media post went viral.
The post carried a photograph of a woman identified as Anushka Yadav, with claims of Tej Pratap’s alleged relationship with her for the past 12 years. The revelation created a storm in Bihar politics, giving fresh ammunition to rivals and triggering cracks within the RJD family.
Denying the allegations, Tej Pratap said his Facebook account had been hacked and accused his opponents of planting the content as part of a larger conspiracy to malign him.
Following his expulsion, Tej Pratap launched a new political outfit under the banner ‘Team Tej Pratap Yadav.’ As the 2025 Assembly elections approach, he has intensified his campaigning across Bihar, repeatedly targeting his opponents by branding them “Jaychands” (traitors).
“Some Jaychands have hatched conspiracies against me. Very soon, the people of Bihar will know their names and actions,” he declared, dropping hints of a major disclosure.
In a pointed remark, Tej Pratap also warned his younger brother and Leader of Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, to keep distance from such “Jaychands,” signalling growing tension within the powerful Yadav political family.
