Bahrain, Aug 25: Kannada Sangha Bahrain has announced a grand celebration to mark the induction of its new executive committee, to be held on Friday, September 5 from 5 pm to 9.30 pm at the Bahrain Cultural Hall.
The new committee, consisting of 12 members, will be led by Ajith Bangera as president.



The event will be attended by several dignitaries. Chief guest will be Yusuf Husain Alharmi, parliamentarian, Kingdom of Bahrain. Guests of honour include Basavaraj Horatti, chairman of the Karnataka Legislative Council, Dinesh Gundu Rao, health minister of Karnataka, and Dr Arathi Krishna, vice president of the NRI Forum of Karnataka.
Also expected to attend are business leaders, community figures and social activists from both Bahrain and India.
The cultural programme will feature a performance by Kudroli Ganesh, known for his blend of magic, mind and mystery, a live art performance by Devi Kiran Ganeshpura, along with traditional dance, music and folk presentations by Kannada Sangha members.
“This special occasion not only signifies a new chapter in leadership, but also underlines the Sangha’s continued commitment to preserving and promoting Kannada language, art and culture within the Kingdom,” said Ajith Bangera.
