Bhatkal: Mohammed Akeeb Haider Made Vice-captain of State Volleyball Team

Bhatkal, Feb 7: Mohammed Akeeb Haider, a student of Anjuman College and son of Abdul Qayyum Haider has been selected as the vice-captain for Karnataka's volleyball team.

Akeeb Haider has been playing for the Anjuman Degree Collefe for three years and has also secured blue rank in Karnataka University, Dharwad.

Akeeb, in the past, had played for the State Junior Team and had also participated in national level games. Akeeb will be taking part in the All India Youth Federation Cup to be held in West Bengal on February 7.

Akeeb tudied in Anand Ashram Convent and later went to Anjuman Boys High School. He then studied BCom at Anjuman Degree College.

Akeeb played for the Bijapur National Level Tournament from the Karnataka Junior Team for two years. In both the years, the State team stood at runners-up position.
