Mumbai, Sep 5: The Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha Maharashtra (Regd), now in its eighteenth year of service, elected its new office-bearers for the term 2025–2028 at the executive meeting held on August 17 at Manifold Conference Hall, Ghatkopar (West).
Senior journalist of Greater Mumbai, former editor of Mogaveera monthly and editor of Safalya quarterly, Dr G P Kusuma, was unanimously chosen as president. Savita Suresh Shetty has been elected as the general secretary.






Other unanimously elected office-bearers include:
• Vice president – Viswanath Poojary Niddodi
• Hon treasurer – Suresh N Moolya
• Joint secretary – Shyam M Hande
• Joint treasurer – Dr Durgappa Y Kotiyawar
Election officer and advisory committee member CA Jagadish B Shetty conducted the election. In total, 16 members were elected to the executive committee.

This marks the seventh executive committee election in the Sangha’s history. Outgoing president Rons Bantwal welcomed the gathering, recalled the milestones of the Association, and expressed gratitude for the support extended during the election. Sa Daya conducted the proceedings, while Savita Suresh Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
