Mumbai, Sep 5: Prominent journalist and member of the Kannada Journalists' Association of Maharashtra, Dr Dinesh Shetty Renjal, has been selected for the prestigious 2025 Late Y G Shetty Memorial Award, conferred annually by Bunts Sangha Mumbai for contributions to the fields of education and literature.
The award will be presented during the organisation’s 97th annual general meeting, to be held this Sunday, September 7, at the Smt Radhabai T Bhandari Hall, Bunts Bhavan, Kurla East. The event will be presided over by Bunts Sangha Mumbai president Praveen Bhoja Shetty.
The announcement was made by the organisation’s general secretary, Dr R K Shetty, who stated that the award recognises Dr Shetty’s outstanding contributions to Kannada journalism and his commitment to the community.
