Mumbai, Sept 7: Actress Divya Dutta, known for her roles in Badlapur, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, and Veer-Zaara, recently shared her excitement after experiencing a driverless car ride for the first time.
Posting a video on Instagram from San Francisco, the actress is seen enjoying a ride in a Waymo self-driving car, seated in the co-passenger seat.
She captioned the video: “An absolutely intriguing experience to sit in a car with no driver!! Mera imaginary Mr. India… the Waymo self-driven car in San Francisco (sic).”

In a separate post earlier, Divya also made a moving appeal on International Dog Day, sharing a video of her pet dogs while urging fans to show compassion toward stray animals.
“We Indians are known the world over for our love and compassion. These stray dogs have been living with us for so long — why treat them this way?” she wrote.
Calling on society to reflect on how it treats voiceless beings, Divya added, “Whether you love them or not, I respect that. But can’t we at least show compassion? Instead of throwing them out, let’s accept them with love, understanding, and care.”
Recalling how previous generations naturally fed stray animals, she said, “Just like during Covid we went back to basics, let’s bring back love and compassion for these beings too. It breaks my heart to see them suffer because we are letting them down.”
Ending her message on a personal note, she added: “This is my heartfelt appeal. What more can I do? Love you all. Please, no hate messages here, only love. If you disagree, kindly do not comment.”
Divya's posts strike a balance between her fascination with future technologies and her deep empathy for animals — offering a glimpse into both her adventurous and compassionate sides.
