Karkala: Student from Kabbinale Dies at Mysore

Karkala, Feb 7: Radhakrishna Bairy (18), a first year engineering student of National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, died on Sunday February 5, while swimming at Balamuri Falls near Srirangapatna.

He was the son of Chandrashekhar Bairy, president of Mudradi gram panchayat and vice president of Varanga Coopeative Agricultural Bank. He was resident of Kabbinale inMudrady village.

Bairy had been on a picnic with 13 other classmates to Balamuri Falls on Sunday. It is learnt that he accidentally slipped and drowned. He is survived by parents and a sister.

About three months back, a person named Rajesh Shettigar Mudradi Uppala had lost his life at Balamuri Falls.
