Kundapur: Youth from Gujjadi Dies in Road Accident

Kundapur, Feb 8: Girish Mesta (28) from Gujjadi near Gangolli in the taluk lost his life in a road accident which occurred at Kumta in Uttara Kannada district on Monday February 6. He was the son of Vittal Mesta and Sridevi Mesta.

Mesta had been to Kumta in his car to attend personal work on Monday. While returning, the car he was driving collided with a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus on national highway 66. He lost his life while being transported to a hospital.

Mesta was engaged in boat construction work at Gangolli. He was popular in the region because of hard work and gentle manners. He had worked as president of a local youth club, and was an active member of BJP.
