Mangaluru, Sep 18: Resplendent in vibrant traditional attire, the students of Expert PU College, Valachil, celebrated Ganesha Chaturthi with profound devotion and jubilant enthusiasm early in the morning in the college temple premises.

An aura of spiritual reverence pervaded the institution as students recited sacred shlokas and bhajans, beautifully complemented by captivating devotional dance performances. The morning Mahapuja was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof Narendra L Nayak, chairman of the Expert Group of Institutions, vice-chairperson Dr Ushaprabha N Nayak, IT director Ankush N Nayak, and architect Deepika A Nayak.

On behalf of the management, the chairman and vice-chairperson invoked the divine grace of Lord Ganesha, praying that all students be blessed with wisdom, prosperity, and enduring success.

The auspicious occasion was attended by Ustad Rafique Khan, trustee, Prof Subramanya Udupa H C, principal of Expert PU College, Valachil, Druthi V Hegde, vice-principal (admin), Anitha P Shetty, chief resident mentor; and programme director Rakshith K Shetty. All staff members were also present, joining the students in the joyous and harmonious celebration.

With reverberating chants of 'Ganapati Bappa Moreya' echoing across the campus, students remained engaged in various spiritual activities throughout the day. After the Maha Puja in the morning, the students expressed their devotion by circumambulating the temple in the evening. With Shlokaarchanas and bhajans being sung throughout the day, the festive atmosphere ended with a Maha Mangalaarti in the evening.

The magnificent celebration culminated in an authentic traditional feast served on banana leaves for all attendees.
