Trump slams Biden after brutal killing of Indian man in Dallas

Washington, Sep 15: US President Donald Trump has vowed strict action after the horrific beheading of Chandra Nagamallaiah, an Indian national, allegedly by undocumented Cuban immigrant Yordanis Cobos-Martinez in Dallas, Texas. Trump promised to prosecute the accused “to the fullest extent of the law” and charged the Biden administration with failing to keep Americans safe.

“I am aware of the terrible reports regarding the murder of Chandra Nagamallaiah… by an ILLEGAL ALIEN from Cuba who should have never been in our Country,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform, assuring that the suspect will face “murder in the first degree” charges. He added, “The time for being soft on these Illegal Immigrant Criminals is OVER under my watch.”

Nagamallaiah, 41, was brutally attacked with a machete on September 10 at the Downtown Suites motel on Samuell Boulevard. Martinez, 37, allegedly decapitated the victim in front of his wife and son and dumped the head in a trash bin. He has been arrested and charged with capital murder.

Trump accused the previous Biden administration of releasing Martinez, who had a criminal record including child sex abuse and grand theft auto. Homeland Security officials confirmed Martinez was released from ICE Dallas custody on an Order of Supervision in January 2025 after Cuba refused to accept his deportation.

The Department of Homeland Security said deportation proceedings are now underway. A disturbing CCTV video of the attack has intensified outrage, with officials and citizens alike calling for tighter immigration controls to prevent such crimes.
