Panaji, Sep 23: A devastating fire broke out at Sankhali Market, completely destroying a grocery store and a clothing outlet. Preliminary estimates suggest losses amounting to several lakhs, though the final tally is still being assessed.

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant visited the affected area, expressing his condolences and promising full government assistance to those impacted.
