Mangalore, Feb 10: In an incident reported from Derebail within Kavoor police station limits, a senior citizen stabbed his daughter-in-law with a knife. The lady, who suffered deep wound and got admitted into a private hospital in the city, is recovering. She is said to be out of danger.
The incident occurred on Thursday February 9 evening. Babu Shetty (70) from Derebail has been accused of stabbing his daughter-in-law, Vijaya Shetty, in the back.
Poliemen of Kavoor station, who questioned the father-in-law, said that Shetty did this out of frustration at the harassment he suffered at the hands of his daughter-in-law.
