Mumbai, Sep 26: A 27-year-old woman died after jumping from the seventh floor of a housing society in Borivali West on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
According to MHB Colony Police, no suicide note was found, and a case of accidental death has been registered. The woman, who lived with her parents, was rushed to Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital around 2.15 pm but was declared dead before admission.
Her father informed police that she had been struggling with depression and was addicted to smoking and drinking for the past decade. He added that she had an argument with him and her boyfriend shortly before the incident.
MHB Colony police have begun further investigation into the case.
