Mangaluru, Oct 6: The Muhoortha ceremony of the short film ‘Horn’ was held at Maha Ganapathi Temple, Shakthinagar. Noted personality Umesh Shenoy gave the ceremonial clap for the first shot of the film.
Short films have become a growing trend among young and talented individuals who aspire to enter the film industry, and ‘HORN’ stands out for its unique concept and engaging theme.
The short film is being produced and directed by Chaitresh Shenoy, who has also written the story and screenplay. Mani Karthikeyan serves as the associate director, while Prasanna is the cinematographer. The film features Prasad Bantwal (Sri Talkies), Vijith Kotian, Vaishnavi, Vineesh, Sujeeth Arundhathi, Sahas, Shivu Alike, Dinesh Prabhu, Preethi Shetty, Sabitha Sandeep, and Chaitresh Shenoy himself in key roles.







Speaking on the occasion, producer-director Chaitresh Shenoy said the short film is being made under the banner of Mahamayi Entertainment and Mahamayi Balleri. He mentioned that the film carries a strong social message and will be screened at PVR and Big Cinemas.
Associate director Mani Karthikeyan shared that the film’s promo will create history, and its storyline, visuals, and dialogues will play a major role in spreading social awareness. He added that the shooting will be completed within 15 days, and the film aims to deliver a meaningful message to society.
