Abu Dhabi, Oct 8: The UAE Government Media Office (GMO) has released the official brand guidelines for the 54th Eid Al Etihad (National Day), outlining how residents, schools, businesses, and designers can celebrate the nation’s milestone in a unified style.

The guidelines, launched in Abu Dhabi as part of preparations for the December 2 National Day, include detailed instructions on logo usage, colour palettes, typography, spacing, and design do’s and don’ts. They aim to ensure a consistent and respectful representation of the UAE’s identity throughout the month-long celebrations, which begin with Flag Day and culminate in Eid Al Etihad.

The branding manual, available on EidAlEtihad.ae and official social media platforms, specifies three official logo versions, colour palettes reflecting the UAE flag, heritage tones, and the Seven Emirates, and approved fonts — Vinyl for English and Athelas Arabic Variable for Arabic.

Authorities have urged government departments, schools, private businesses, content creators, and residents to follow these standards when decorating homes, shopfronts, or producing promotional materials. Creatives have also been invited to submit designs for official Eid Al Etihad merchandise through an open call running until October 17.

The Eid Al Etihad, also known as UAE National Day, marks the historic union of the seven emirates on December 2, 1971. This year’s 54th anniversary highlights more than five decades of unity, progress, and cultural heritage, with festivities including parades, cultural shows, family events, and vibrant displays of the national flag.
