Washington, Oct 12: US President Donald Trump has appointed his Deputy Chief of Staff, Dan Scavino, to lead the White House Presidential Personnel Office, replacing Sergio Gor, who has been confirmed as the new US Ambassador to India.
Announcing the decision on Truth Social, Trump praised both officials, saying, “The great Dan Scavino will head the Presidential Personnel Office, replacing Sergio Gor, who did a wonderful job and will now become Ambassador to India.”

Scavino will oversee the crucial office responsible for selecting and appointing top officials across the administration. “It’s a very big and important position. Congratulations Dan, you will do a fantastic job!” Trump added.
Gor, who has begun a six-day visit to India, will soon take charge at the US Embassy in New Delhi. The Presidential Personnel Office plays a vital role in recruiting and vetting candidates for key posts within the Executive Branch.
