St Lawrence students turn junior entrepreneurs with healthy chocolate making workshop

Media Release

Mumbai, Oct 16: In a unique and delightful initiative, St Lawrence High School, Borivali recently organized a chocolate making internship for its students, focusing on crafting healthy and nutritious chocolates.

The in-house hands-on training workshop was conducted by Khyati Harsora, founder of Rainbow Delight, who guided students through every stage of chocolate making from tempering and moulding to filling and decorating while emphasizing healthier alternatives and the use of natural ingredients.

The workshop also nurtured young entrepreneurial skills, as students designed creative packaging, calculated costs, and prepared their own chocolate creations for display. The experience fostered creativity, teamwork, precision, and business awareness, turning learning into a truly enjoyable process.

The students thanked chairman Dr A F Pinto and managing director Grace Pinto for their continuous guidance and encouragement in organizing such meaningful learning experiences.

This internship reflects St Lawrence High School’s commitment to hands-on learning, skill development, and promoting healthy lifestyles and entrepreneurship among students offering valuable career exposure while letting children enjoy the sweet rewards of their efforts.

The students’ healthy chocolate creations will be displayed in the upcoming school exhibition, promising a delightful treat for all parents and visitors.
