Mumbai, Oct 18: Actress Zaira Wasim, known for her acclaimed role in Dangal, recently surprised fans by sharing pictures from her nikaah on Instagram. The post featured an Instagram carousel capturing moments from her intimate ceremony.

In the first image, Zaira is seen signing her nikaah nama (marriage contract), her hands adorned with intricate henna designs. The second picture offered a serene back shot of Zaira and her husband gazing at the moonlit sky. She captioned the post simply, “Qubool hai x3.”

For her wedding, Zaira chose a heavily embroidered red dupatta, while her husband was seen in a cream-colored sherwani, reflecting a classic yet elegant ensemble.

Zaira rose to fame with her Bollywood debut in 2016’s Dangal, starring Aamir Khan. Her performance as the young Geeta Phogat earned her the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. In 2019, Zaira announced her departure from acting, citing personal reasons and her desire to focus on her faith. Her last film was The Sky Is Pink, alongside Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, and Rohit Saraf.

Through her recent post, Zaira offered fans a rare glimpse of her personal life, keeping the ceremony intimate and heartfelt.
