Chennai, Oct 18: The much-anticipated title teaser of Athiradi, an upcoming mass action entertainer, was unveiled on Saturday, officially setting the tone for a high-energy cinematic ride starring Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph, and Vineeth Sreenivasan. Helmed by debutant director Arun Anirudhan, the film is backed by Basil Joseph Entertainments and Doctor Ananthu Entertainments.

The teaser introduces each lead character in style — starting with Vineeth Sreenivasan, followed by Basil and Tovino — hinting at a powerful theatrical experience packed with punchlines, action, and distinct character personas. With music blaring and visuals crackling with energy, the teaser firmly places Athiradi in the mass entertainer category.

Marking a reunion of the core Minnal Murali team — including director-turned-producer Basil Joseph, actor Tovino Thomas, co-writer Arun Anirudhan, and co-producer Sameer Thahir — Athiradi has already created a stir among fans. The screenplay has been jointly written by Anirudhan and Paulson Skaria.

The film will go on floors by the end of October, with casting calls already generating buzz earlier this month. Notably, the teaser was released in multiple languages — Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi — signaling a wider pan-Indian reach.

On the technical side, Athiradi features cinematography by Samuel Henry, music by Vishnu Vijay, editing by Chaman Chacko, and costumes by Mashar Hamsa.

With three powerhouse performers sharing screen space for the first time, and a creative team known for breaking ground with Minnal Murali, Athiradi is shaping up to be one of the most awaited action entertainers on the horizon.
