Sunny Deol unveils first look of ‘Gabru’ on his birthday; promises a story of courage and compassion

Mumbai, Oct 19: Bollywood star Sunny Deol gave his fans a birthday surprise they won’t forget! On his special day, the actor unveiled the first look of his upcoming film Gabru, co-starring Simran Bagga and Prit Kamani, calling it a tale of “courage, conscience, and compassion.”

Taking to social media, Sunny shared the film’s poster along with a heartfelt note that read, “Power isn't what you show, it's what you do! Thank you everyone for your love and blessings, here's something for you all who have been waiting... #Gabru IN CINEMAS 13th March 2026. A story of courage, conscience, and compassion. From my heart... to the world!”

Fans flooded the post with birthday wishes and excitement for his next project. “Happy birthday, my inspiration,” wrote one user, while another commented, “Thank you for this gift on your birthday!”

Gabru is presented by Om Chhangani and Echelon and written and directed by Shashank Udapurkar. The film’s music will feature compositions by Mithoon, Satinder Sartaaj, and Anurag Saikia, with lyrics penned by Sayeed Quadri. The film is slated for a grand theatrical release on March 13, 2026.

Meanwhile, Sunny Deol is also preparing for the much-anticipated Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh. The film will star Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh in pivotal roles, with Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa recently joining the ensemble cast. Border 2 is scheduled to release on January 22, 2026.

Celebrating his birthday, Sunny shared a cheerful video on Instagram showing him singing joyfully amid fireworks and Punjabi beats. The veteran actor looked thrilled as fans across the globe poured in love and warm wishes, marking yet another milestone in his remarkable journey in Indian cinema.
