Bantwal: CM Siddaramaiah gets rousing welcome by Cong workers at Farangipete

Bantwal, Oct 20: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah received a rousing reception from Congress party workers at Farangipete, during his journey from Mangaluru International Airport to Puttur.

The grand welcome was organised under the leadership of former zilla panchayat member Umar Farooq Farangipete and Pudu Grama Panchayat president Ramlan Maripalla. A large number of Congress supporters gathered along the roadside to greet the chief minister, waving party flags and chanting slogans.

Siddaramaiah briefly stepped out of his car at Farangipete to interact with the crowd. He received greetings from the local leaders and accepted a memorandum of requests from the community.

Among those present at the event were former zilla panchayat member Umar Farooq, Chandraprakash Shetty, Pudu Grama Panchayat president Ramlan Maripalla, and Grama Panchayat vice-president Rukhsana Banu Ammemar. Also in attendance were Mohammed Monu, former president of the Mangaluru Taluk Panchayat, and Vrinda Poojary, former president of Meramajalu Grama Panchayat.

Several local Congress members and supporters including Ashif Iqbal Darbar, Iqbal Sujeeru, Irshad Perimar, Mohammed Bukari, Abusali Ustad of Badria Juma Masjid (Ammemar), Salaam Malli, Isham Farangipete, Mohammed Monu from Parangipete, Anas Ammemar, Razak Ammemar, Riyaz Kumpanamajalu, Vishukumar Sujeeru, Jayanti Kumdelu, Labeesha Ammemar, Saramma Ammemar, and others also participated in the reception.

The enthusiastic gathering raised slogans such as “Namma Nayaka, Jananayaka Siddaramaiahge Jai!” (Hail our leader, the people’s leader Siddaramaiah), creating a vibrant and charged atmosphere.

The chief minister acknowledged the warm welcome and assured the gathering that their concerns and representations would be given due attention.
