Los Angeles, Oct 21: Hollywood stars Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise have reportedly ended their relationship after months of dating, deciding to part ways on friendly terms.

According to The Sun, the duo — who were even said to be planning a grand “wedding in space” — called it quits after realizing “the spark had gone.” A source told the publication, “They are going to remain good friends, but they aren’t dating anymore. They just realised they weren’t going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates.”

Confirming the breakup, a source close to Ana told People that she has been single “for a while” but continues to maintain a warm relationship with Cruise. “She stays in touch with Tom, and they still have an upcoming movie project she’s looking forward to,” the insider said, adding that Ana considers him a “dear friend and mentor.”

Reports from RadarOnline also suggested there is “no tension” between the two, only “mutual respect.” The source noted that their connection has evolved into “something healthier.”

Rumours of their romance began in July after the pair were spotted together in Vermont and later seen attending David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash, vacationing in Madrid and London, and attending an Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium.

While neither Cruise nor de Armas ever publicly confirmed their relationship, their frequent appearances and mutual admiration had fueled speculation.

Despite the breakup, both stars reportedly remain close and committed to collaborating professionally on their upcoming film project.
