GOSI confirms early pension deposit for November; dismisses rumours of SAR 800 increase

Daijiworld Media Network – Riyadh

Riyadh, Oct 30: The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) has announced that November 2025 pensions will be credited earlier than scheduled — on Thursday, October 30, 2025, instead of Saturday, November 1, as the regular date falls on a weekend. The move follows GOSI’s standard policy to ensure beneficiaries receive their payments without delay.

Officials confirmed that the deposits will be made automatically into the registered bank accounts of retirees. Beneficiaries do not need to take any additional steps to receive the payment.

According to GOSI, advancing the disbursement date aligns with organizational regulations that mandate early payment whenever the scheduled date coincides with a weekend or public holiday. This ensures a smooth and uninterrupted process, giving retirees timely access to their funds.

In recent weeks, several posts circulating on social media claimed that a Royal Decree had approved a SAR 800 increase in retiree pensions. GOSI has firmly refuted these claims, clarifying that no such Royal Order has been issued.

The organization urged beneficiaries to ignore unverified information and rely solely on official communication channels, including GOSI’s verified website and social media platforms, for accurate updates.

• Automatic Deposit: Pensions will be credited on October 30 directly to bank accounts.

• No Extra Steps: Beneficiaries need not take any additional action.

• Check Accounts: Verify your bank account on or after October 30.

• Report Issues Promptly: If payment is not received, contact your bank or GOSI through official helplines or the online services portal.

• Stay Updated: Follow only GOSI’s official platforms for reliable information.

The Saudi social insurance system continues to evolve beyond traditional pension disbursements. GOSI remains committed to enhancing digital accessibility and service efficiency for retirees and insured members across the Kingdom.

By leveraging advanced digital systems, the organization aims to provide a secure, transparent, and user-friendly environment, ensuring ease of access and confidence for all beneficiaries.
