Mumbai, Nov 2: Western Railway has announced a five-hour megablock on the UP and DOWN fast lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (local) stations today, from 10:35 AM to 3:35 PM, to facilitate maintenance work on tracks, signaling, and overhead equipment.
According to Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block, all fast line trains will be temporarily operated on slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central.
As a result, some UP and DOWN suburban trains will be cancelled, while certain Churchgate-bound trains will be short-terminated or reversed from Bandra or Dadar stations.
Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and stay updated on train schedules to avoid inconvenience.
